African NGOs Resilience Platform (ANRP) is an initiative by EtriLabs designed to strengthen collaboration among impact-driven actors across Africa, with the aim of fostering cooperation and generating sustainable value in the face of current and future challenges.

The recent suspension of USAID funding and the policy shifts among Western development agencies represent a pivotal moment for organizations like ours. The millions of beneficiaries left unsupported by halted projects serve as a stark reminder of the essential role we play in driving social progress and development across Africa.

This situation also highlights key challenges we must urgently address:

• Diversifying our funding sources to ensure the long-term sustainability of our operations and impact.
• Pooling efforts to access larger-scale funding and amplify our collective impact.
• Increasing the visibility of our initiatives and organizations.
• Strengthening collaboration to influence public policy and shape systemic change.

ANRP seeks to address these challenges through two core mechanisms:

1. Hubforgood.africa:

   • For NGOs: A regularly updated database of funding opportunities and donors, along with practical tools and guidance to enhance organizational visibility and maximize fundraising success.
   • For donors: A curated directory of vetted NGOs and high-impact projects seeking support across Africa.

2. Impact Africa Meetups:

   Exclusive events designed to connect NGOs with donors, expand networks, and foster lasting partnerships with other impact leaders across the continent.

We aspire, through this initiative, to create a virtual space where impact actors across Africa will draw their strength and success from collaboration, knowledge exchange, and partnership. This space is designed to build their resilience capacities, enabling them to emerge stronger from the major disruptions and shifts currently reshaping global geopolitical dynamics.
